The Western Cape recorded 3,633 new Covid-19 infections in the last 24-hour monitoring period

The Western Cape recorded a more than 3,600 new Covid-19 infections in the last 24-hour monitoring period.

According to the provincial Health Department’s Covid-19 dash-board, there are currently more than 42-thousand active cases of the virus here.

To date, 15,925 residents have passed away due to complications.

This is an increase of an additional 82 since Friday-afternoon.
