Up to 7,000 Cape Town residents will be able to get vaccinated, daily, at the mass-vaccination center at Athlone Stadium, which will soon open its doors.

The Cape Town Metro Council has confirmed that the center will open on 16 August.

There will also be a drive-through facility available 2 weeks later where people will be able to receive their injection – This will be the province’s first drive-through center.

The site will have 40 stations to receive boarding visitors and 5 lanes for drive-through customers.
