More than 2-thousand residents vaccinated on Saturday

The Western Cape Health Department says more than 2-thousand people took advantage of the vaccination drive, this past weekend.

The Department over the weekend activated 10 public vaccination sites where residents could go for their injection.

On Saturday, more than 400 people were vaccinated at the Montagu Clinic, more than 430 people at the TC Newman CDC, more than 300 at the Goodwood Town Hall, while close to 200 received their vaccination at the Beaconvale/Mitchells Plain clinic.

At total of 2 046 people got vaccinated.
