The Western Cape health department has confirmed that the province has reported 18 additional Covid-19 deaths since Sunday.

The province’s Covid death toll now stands at 11 763 deaths.

The country’s overall covid mortality rate increased by 72 cases yesterday and currently stands at 55 874.
