Health minister Dr Zweli Mkhize says 755 people have died due to covid-19 related illnesses, in the latest 24-hour period. The death toll stands at 34 334, since the outbreak of the illness in March last year. 13 105 new cases have been identified in the latest monitoring period. The good news is that the number of confirmed recoveries has passed the million mark which is a recovery rate of 81%.
