The Western Cape’s covid-19 infection rate has risen further, and currently stands at more than 157,340 cases. To date, more than 127,680 people have already recovered, with nearly 25-thousand people still having active forms of the virus. 5,176 Western Cape residents have died due to covid-19 related complications.
