Fashion advice for the short guy! Fashion is an interesting thing, and I’ve talked a lot about the importance of dressing according to your build.

So in your man stuff, 4 things from fashion gurus you should avoid from a fashion point of view if you are short:

Trousers with Cuffs or Pleats. What I mean by cuffs, is that stretch that is tucked into your pants at your ankles, this will make your legs look shorter.

Broad Neckties and Belts. Be careful for this one and keep it trim, your tie should not be more than 2-3 inches and should not extend past your belt. With regards to the belt, pick one that’s not too long or too wide.

Avoid Strong patterns or prints. Anything loud or too vibrant will not work for you. These overwhelming patterns will disrupt the visual illusion or effect that you are striving to create.

Platform shoes, I cannot agree more. Although it can make you look taller/longer, it also seems desperate. Embrace your height and wear normal shoes. They will make you look confident and classy.
