Ek weet dat yoga amper soos n vloekwoord is vir baie ouens want ons moet mos met gewigte!

Maar die tye verander en meer en meer besef ons dat daar baie voordele is aan yoga spesifiek vir mans!

Many yoga poses are held for a series of breaths which allow the muscles to lengthen and strengthen simultaneously. When you combine weightlifting with yoga, the normally ignored sections of muscles are activated.

Plus doing yoga has proven to do wonders for you labido and sexual performance, just FIY gents.

Ek se nou nie jy moet alles los en yoga klasse gaan bywoon nie, maar om jou te help met soepelheid, doen hierdie 5 strekke by die huis.

Utkatasana or Chair Pose

It can be arduous even for the extremely fit male. This pose builds strength in the ankles, shoulders, quadriceps and glutes.

Navasana or Boat Pose

A necessity for strengthening your deep core, your hip flexors and spine . . .

Uttanasana or Standing Forward Fold

This one helps stretch the muscles, increase blood circulation and relieve stress. It is a great pose for active men to nurture themselves and reclaim their center.

Adho Mukha Svanasana or Downward Facing Dog

This one specifically strengthens your back, hips, calves, hamstrings, and shoulders.

Anjaneyasana or Low Lunge

It’s fantastic for men because it allows the hip flexors to open and a great way to practice balance.
