Taylor Swift has joined forces with a bevy of A-listers and LGBTQ figures for the music video of her new song, You Need to Calm Down.
The new song, which is being released during Pride Month in the States, is the second single from her newly announced album, Lover.
It supports the LGBTQ community as well as GLAAD, the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation. At the end of the video Taylor asks her fans to please sign her Change.org petition for Senate support of the Equality Act.
It’s not the first time that Taylor has called on her famous friends – her video for Bad Blood had 15 celebs… and her new three-and-a-half-minute colourful video is essentially a nonstop cameo parade, featuring celebrities from music, reality TV, Instagram, and everywhere else. It stars 21 celebs like RuPaul, Ellen Degeneres, Laverne Cox, Queer Eye’s Fab Five, Ciara, Ryan Reynolds, and even Katy Perry – the two of them have ended their feud! Ironically Bad Blood was supposedly about Katy Perry and now here she is in the latest video!
Here it is! What do you think?
