Western Cape showing early signs of a decline in third wave of Covid-19

The Western Cape is now at the peak of the third wave, but is starting to show early signs of a decline.

The Head of Health, Dr. Keith Cloete says the province’s positivity rate has started showing a slight decline with the number of deaths and hospitalizations also decreasing.

Cloete says an overall decline, in all indicators, is expected in the next week or two.
