Western Cape should reach its third-wave Covid-19 peak towards the end of July

The Western Cape head of Health, Dr Keith Cloete says the province is expected to reach its peak in covid-19 infections towards the end of the month, beginning August.

He says the Western Cape tends to follow the situation in Gauteng and by month-end, there could be a massive strain on the healthcare system.
