Western Cape Education Department close to meeting its target of vaccinating its 55 200 teachers and school-staff

The Western Cape Education Department says it is well on its way to meet its target of vaccinating its 55 200 teachers and other school-staff in the next few days.

To date, the WCED had already administered 61% of its allocated doses of the vaccine, with 33 798 educators that have been vaccinated.

The aim is to vaccinate 5 848 people today.

Remaining staff will be vaccinated on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
