Western Cape High Court Judge President, John Hlophe, who was recently found guilty of gross misconduct, for trying to sway two Constitutional Court justices to rule in favour of former ANC President Jacob Zuma, will be part of the Judicial Service Commission as it interviews candidates for two positions at his court. The interviews are taking place today with Western Cape Premier Alan Winde also attending the interviews. Winde had earlier raised concerns over the interviews taking place now, given that the JSC has yet to make a decision over whether Hlophe should face impeachment and be suspended.
