Eastern Cape police are on high alert after a teacher was abducted from a Nelson Mandela Bay school this morning. The suspects reportedly grabbed the 45-year-old woman and forced her into their white Toyota Corolla vehicle before fleeing.
The incident happened at the Happydale Special School, in Algoa Park. The woman — who is believed to be the wife of a well-known businessman — was snatched shortly after arriving at school in her grey Toyota Fortuner.

Eastern Cape police spokesperson Andre Beetge said a case of kidnapping is being investigated, and that no ransom has been demanded yet.
“The suspects using a white Toyota Corolla forcefully took her into their vehicle and fled the scene again. A case of kidnapping was opened by the police in Algoa Park, and is being investigated by Police Provincial Organised Crime Investigation Unit,” Beete confirmed.
