WATCH: Manhunt for two suspects involved in Kuilsriver armed robbery

Kuilsriver Police have launched a manhunt for two suspects who targeted and executed an armed robbery at a business premises in the Stellendale area on Wednesday.

 

According to police, two unidentified armed men entered the business premises, which was later confirmed to be the Caltex fuel station, near the corners of Stellendale and Sunvalley Road, Kuilsriver.

 

Warrant Officer Joseph Swartbooi says the suspects took items and proceeded to the pay point. One of the males then produced a firearm and demanded cash from the cashier.

 

Video footage of the incident has since been widely shared on social media.

 

 

Swartbooi says the cashier complied with the armed suspect’s demands. The suspects fled the scene in an undisclosed direction and are yet to be arrested. No shots were fired, and no one sustained any visible injuries.

 

According to police, the circumstances surrounding this incident are still under investigation. Kuilsriver police registered a business robbery for further investigation.
