W.C. to host Tavern Dialogues this weekend

Ten Cape Town taverns will this coming weekend play host to the Tavern Dialogues – an initiative that will invite Western Cape men, to engage with each other, on how they can help fight gender-based violence.

The campaign, as part of the country’s 16 Days of Activism for No Violence against Women and Children.

The Head of Distell’s Alcohol Responsibility Project, Clarence Sibiya, says the dialogue series is designed to educate and equip men, to drive positive change in their communities.

Siya says the sessions will be hosted in taverns in Gugulethu, Delft, Mitchell’s Plain and Gugulethu.
