The Wynberg Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit is offering a reward of up to R50 000 for information that could lead to the safe return of eight-year-old Anovuyo Oncke, who went missing on 7 September 2025.

Police spokesperson Wesley Twigg says Anovuyo disappeared while playing with friends in Riemvasmaak, Phumlani Village.

“Police have exhausted all avenues to reunite the child with her family. Anyone with information that could assist the investigation, or who knows the child’s whereabouts, should contact Detective Sergeant Laeeq Henderson at 082 522 1078 or Crime Stop on 08600 10111.”
