Time’s running out for comments on the Voortrekker Road upgrade. So says the City’s Mayoral Committee Member for Urban Mobility, Rob Quintas, with the comment period set to close this Friday, 16 October, after it was opened on 15 September 2026.
Time’s running out for Voortrekker Road upgrade comments
Quintas says the upgrade to Voortrekker Road is about making the road work better for everyone who uses it. He says it will reduce congestion and improve public transport. It will also make it safer and easier for people who are walking and cycling. At the same time, Quintas added that it will ensure the more efficient movement of goods and services.
“Ultimately, this project is about making everyday travel easier for our communities and to keep Cape Town moving,” said Quintas.
