The Western Cape MEC of Community Safety, Albert Fritz, has condemned the latest mass-shooting in Gugulethu, which left 7 people dead. Two other people were injured in the incident. MEC Fritz has called on the transversal steering committee on organised crime, to urgently convene and investigate the matter. Fritz met with Police Minister Bheki Cele, in October, where it was agreed that the committee would be established.
