The Western Cape Health Department says the province has reported a further 14 Covid-19 related deaths since Monday night, with the province’s Covid death toll now rising to 11 894.

The province’s vaccination rate has also increased, with 214 913 residents having received their injections thus far.

More than 123-thousand people, over 60, have already received their vaccination.

More than 91,000 of the province’s healthcare workers have also been vaccinated.
