The Head of Health, Dr Keith Cloete says residents complained about long queues at some centres, while there are few or no people at other sites. Cloete says they want to make it easy for people to get an injection.

South Africa has meanwhile recorded 10 685 new Covid-19 cases, over the latest 24-hour monitoring period. A further 553 Covid-19-related deaths have been reported, taking total fatalities to 77 993.
