The Western Cape is one of four provinces that can still expect to see massive increases in Covid-19 infections in the coming weeks.

This according to the director of the Kwazulu-Natal Research Innovation and Sequencing Platform, Prof. Tulio de Oliveira who says these increases would be driven by the more-transmissible Delta-variant.

De Oilveira says Limpopo, Kwazulu-Natal and Mpumalanga can also expect significant increases in infections.

He says there is however some good news.
