The regulatory body says pregnant women may receive the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, in consultation with their health-care providers. The Authority says pregnant women had a higher risk of developing a severe form of Covid-19, and says the virus was associated with an increased risk of pre-term birth. SAPHRA says women, who are breast-feeding, are also eligible for the vaccine.
