National Prosecuting Authority spokesperson Mthunzi Mhaga has confirmed that Zuma’s doctors have asked to file their report on his state of health and its implications for his trial on the 27th of August. But Mhaga says the state “did not agree to this”. The former President was hospitalised 2 weeks ago while serving a 15-month jail term for defying a Constitutional Court ruling that he appear before the State Capture Inquiry.
