Stan Engelbrecht, ‘n fietsryer van Kaapstad, het Tannie Poppie 6 jaar terug ontmoet. ‘n Vriendskap het tussen die twee geblom en tannie Poppie het vir talle fietsry geleenthede reg gestaan met haar roosterbrode.

Tannie Poppie en Stan het by Merentia van der Vent in die Honest Truth ateljee kom kuier, om te gesels oor hul vriendskap, roosterbrode, moeilike tye en tannie Poppie se reis na Italie.
