The department of health says 194 more people have died due to covid-19 related illnesses, in the latest monitoring period, taking the death toll to 50 271. Health Minister Dr Zweli Mkhize says in the same period, 856 new infections were confirmed. More than 1.4-million people have recovered which is an improved recovery rate of 94.6%.
