The death toll in the Melkbosstrand Street accident, between Melkbosstrand and Philadelphia, has risen to 8. Twelve others were injured in the accident between a mini-bus taxi and another vehicle. Western Cape traffic authorities say there is currently a stop-and-go control in place on the road.

Killian appeared in Court in Bellville this morning, to apply for bail, in his murder case on Anti-gang Unit police-man, Charl Kinnear.
