The country has recorded 809 new covid-19 cases, in the last 24 hours, which represents a 3.4% positivity rate.

A further 27 covid-19 related deaths have been reported, bringing total fatalities to date, to 87 780. Meanwhile, the global death toll from coronavirus has surpassed 5 million, according to a Reuters tally, with more than half of the world yet to receive at least one dose of a covid-19 vaccine.
