The City of Cape Town says policing at public swimming pools and beaches will be increased, to control crowds, and to see if the covid-19 safety and health measures are complied with. The Directorate for Community Services yesterday unveiled its festive-season readiness-plan and says under level 1 lockdown-restrictions, visitor numbers at public swimming pools will be limited to a 50% capacity.
