The Animal Welfare Society in Cape Town says it has issued an elderly woman with a final warning, after she was found guilty of chaining her dog to a metal stake. The AWS says it served the Manenberg-resident with a final written warning, for animal cruelty. The dog was found sick, with a severe skin infection and tied to a metal pole at a residence in Tambo Street, Manenberg.
