Western Cape Education MEC, Debbie Schafer has urged teachers, who have not yet received their Covid-19 vaccination, to take advantage of the sector’s extended vaccination-drive.

Jabs for teachers and other school-support staff were extended to tomorrow (Wednesday).

Schafer received her injection at the Metropolitan Health vaccination-site in Bellville yesterday and says the hope is to have all eligible teachers vaccinated by the cut-off date.
