Some roads are flooded

The City has asked road users to be patient on the roads, as numerous incidents were reported this morning in the rainy weather. Some lanes on roads were blocked due to vehicles that overturned. There were also reports of flooding on roads.

Use your headlights at all times

Cape Town Traffic’s Maxine Bezuidenhout is asking motorists to allow additional travel time as the conditions will affect traffic volumes. Motorists are also advised to drive with their headlights on at all times and to maintain a safe following distance.
