The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) has announced new payment dates for November 2026 social grants, following approval from National Treasury.

The dates have been brought forward from the original schedule of 3 to 6 November to avoid a clash with the local government elections on 4 November, which is a public holiday.

Under the revised schedule, Older Persons Grants will be paid on Friday, 30 October, followed by Disability Grants on Monday, 2 November. Children’s Grants will be paid on Tuesday, 3 November.

SASSA has also reminded beneficiaries whose grants are under review to respond to official communication and attend review appointments when requested.

The agency has also confirmed a payment on Thursday, 5 November, for beneficiaries whose grants are under review.

“The fourth-day payment on 05 November 2026 is specifically intended for beneficiaries whose grants fall within the review process.”

The agency has urged beneficiaries not to rush to its offices unnecessarily, assuring them that payments will be processed according to the revised schedule.
