Gloria! Sam Smith Releases New Album

Sam Smith’s #1 hit, Unholy, has garnered over 180 million Spotify streams. It has remained at the top of numerous streaming platforms since its release – 24 days and counting. It went further and dominated Tik-Tok trends, starting an Unholy revolution online.

 

“I’m feeling overwhelmed and emotional as I start to let go of ‘Gloria’ and hand this work over to you,” Sam explained.

 

To mark his growing success, Sam Smith eagerly anticipates the release of his fourth studio album – Gloria. It is set to be released on the 27th of January 2023. The 13-track stunner will be Sam’s boldest statement yet. Crowning the run of the single featuring Kim Petras.

Sam Smith is a Multi-Platinum, Grammy, Brit, Golden Globe and Academy Award-winning artist. They have been regarded as one of the most celebrated musical artists to emerge in recent history.  Sam also boasts a collection of remarkable successes. They have enjoyed 35 million album sales, 260 million single sales and 45 billion career streams!

In addition, their multi-platform debut and sophomore albums, In the Lonely Hour and The Thrill of It All, both debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. They have since collaborated with artists such as Calvin Harris on ‘Promises‘ and Normani in ‘Dancing With A Stranger‘.

 

Sam Smith also holds two Guinness World Records. One, for the most consecutive week on the UK Top 10 Album Chart (In The Lonely Hour). And second, having the first James Bond Theme to reach No.1 on the UK Charts (Writing’s on the Wall).

 

This weekend Sam will be headlining two shows at the Royal Albert Hall on the 21st & 22nd of October 2022. With the continuing success of Unholy, live plots and the release of their fourth studio album, Gloria, 2023 is going to be an undeniably exciting year for Sam.
