SA could vaccinate up to 300-thousand people per day

Published on

South Africa would be able to vaccinate between 250- and 300-thousand people a day, once its Covid-19 vaccine roll-out campaign picks up speed.

This, according to the CEO and founder Aspen Pharma-Care, Stephen Saad who says the vaccines would be made available at both public and private healthcare facilities.

Saad spoke to eNCA and says the success of the country’s vaccination campaign will depend heavily on how well Government and the private sector works together.

He says the Aspen Pharma-Care facility, in the Easter Cape, has the capacity to deliver sufficient vaccine-doses for this roll-out.
