Rooibos council disburse R12 mil to Kho & San communities

The SA Rooibos Council says it has disbursed more than R12 million to local Khoi and San communities, as part of a benefit-sharing agreement. Legal Director of the SA Rooibos Council, Dawie de Villiers says the agreement was brought to life, to ensure that all parties, who trade in indigenous biological resources, share financial benefits with traditional knowledge-holders.
