Does De Niro = cool dad?
It is unclear who the mother of his seventh child is. However, TMZ believes it to be his rumoured girlfriend who was said to be pregnant in March.
De Niro talked about his parenting style with ET Canada, saying he doesn’t consider himself a “cool dad”:
You know, my kids disagree with me at times, and they’re respectful. My daughter, who’s 11, she gives me grief sometimes and I argue with her. I adore her, but, you know. And my youngest now, that’ll be more to come. But, that’s what it is
His best parenting tip – be loving, but be stern:
And any parent, I think, would say the same thing. You always want to do the right thing by the children and give them the benefit of the doubt, but sometimes you can’t
De Niro received an Oscar for his supporting role in “The Godfather: Part II” and for best actor in “Raging Bull”. He was also honoured with the Golden Globes’ Cecil B DeMille Award for his impact on the entertainment industry. He also received the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2016.
