READ: Quinton de Kock has apologised to his teammates and fans, says he’s ‘happy’ to take the knee to stand up against racism

Quinton de Kock has apologised to his teammates and fans following his withdrawal from, and refusal to take the knee ahead of the T20 World Cup cricket match against the West Indies earlier this week.

He says he understands the importance of standing against racism, and understands the responsibility of players to set an example.

De Kock met with the CSA board last night and says he will now take the knee, if he is allowed to play again.
