President Cyril Ramaphosa says his Government will now place more focus on fixing the country’s public transport sector. Ramaphosa in his weekly newsletter says currently around two-thirds of households use taxis as their main form of transport, while 25-percent of South Africans make use of trains and buses. He says the provision of efficient, reliable, safe and affordable public transport, is critical to the everyday lives of South Africans.
