President Cyril Ramaphosa has revealed Health Minister dr Zweli Mkhize has instructed scientists to come up with a plan to vaccinate the population in the shortest possible time following delays caused by problems with the Oxford/AstraZeneca vaccine. On Sunday, the Department of Health put its plans to use the vaccine temporarily on hold. Ramaphosa says in the light of the new developments, he has tasked scientists to develop proposals on how the country can effectively vaccinate the population in the shortest possible time.
