President Cyril Ramaphosa has announced with ‘deep sorrow and shock’ that Minister in the Presidency Jackson Mthembu has passed away from COVID-related complications. Ramaphosa has extended his thoughts and prayers to his family at this time of loss. Mthembu tested positive on 11 January.
