Premier Alan Winde will today announce changes to the Western Cape Cabinet as well as new MEC’s.

 The posts of Education and Community Safety MECs are vacant and Winde also confirmed that he will be creating a new department of Infrastructure and Mobility. Yesterday, Debbie Schafer announced, that she was resigning as Education MEC and leaving the country to work in the UK. Winde says it’s the ideal time for him to effect changes.
