Proteas captain Faf du Plessis is taking a balanced approach ahead of the ICC Cricket World Cup, saying it’s vital that the side can start their campaign with fresh minds and fresh bodies.

The Proteas skipper says the warm up games (against Sri Lanka and West Indies) are important, but they will build up intensity so they can have enough energy for the tournament.

du Plessis tweeted this spectacular photo of the 10 Captains:

The Proteas will play the first match of the tournament on 30 May against hosts England, at The Oval.
