One year and counting to Netball World Cup 2023

Published on

Former Proteas Netball captain Zanele Mdodana has called on South Africans to get behind the current crop of players, as they prepare for the biggest tournament of their careers – the Netball World Cup 2023. It’s exactly one year to go before the first ball is played in the global showpiece – which will be held at the CTICC. Mdodana, who is the current Maties Netball Head Coach, led her side to the quarter-finals at the 2011 World Cup in Singapore. She says for young girls to see their heroes in the flesh in 2023, will be priceless.
