More fuel price relief on the cards for June

Published on

According to fuel price data and projections, motorists across the country can expect to see another fuel price cut heading their way in June.

This will provide some much-needed financial relief to road users and consumers across the board.

Current predictions point to a petrol price drop of 40 to 57 cents per litre for petrol, while diesel users can expect a price cut of up to 94 cents a litre.

Of course, this could change depending on fluctuations in international oil prices and the rand’s exchange rate to the US dollar. The official fuel price adjustments will take effect on Wednesday, 4 June 2025.
