Taylor Swift’s Midnights has landed as the biggest album of the decade! It is also the biggest debut of her career with nearly 1.6 million total consumption in the US, and 3 million worldwide.

Taylor Swift is no stranger to breaking records and smashing hits. Swift has now become the only artist to have five albums debut with over 1 million units sold in the first week (US)! Her album, Midnights, scored over 1 million US pure album sales in one week. This is her first album to achieve this since her ‘Reputation’ (2017).

Midnights has surpassed ‘1989’ – Swift’s former biggest album.

Swift does however tie with Barbara Streisand as the female artist with the most No.1 albums in Billboard 200 history.
