So bietjie van n gewigte maar nogsteeds belangrike onderwerp, n man se geestesgesondheid.

En vanmiddag wil ek iets met jou deel wat ek raakgesien het op facebook, en ek doen dit want ek weet, vir ons mans is dit moeilik om te gesels oor dinge wat ons pla, veral as dit by emosionele dinge kom, maar dit is wel so belangrik om daardie moeilike gesprekke te he, of dit nou met n professionele persoon is, n vriend of selfs jou man of partner of n familielid. Die laaste ding wat n man moet doen is om daardie gevoelens te bedruk. Ek het dit self n klompie jare terug gedoen, en wat gebeur toe? Alles het net ontplof en ek moes professionele raad en leiding kry, dit was moeiklik, en vandag kan ek eerlik se, ek is nie skaam om te praat as daar iets is wat my pla nie, alhoewel dit nogsteeds vir my as man moeilik is om oop te maak, besef ek die belangrikheid daarvan.

Daar is n paar rooi vlaggies wat jy kan identifiseer ouens wat jou moet laat regop sit en aandag gee.

2: He will always try to handle things on his own

3: He will never express his feeling easily

4: He always tries to look happy by forcing a smile

5: He will ever accept if anything is wrong in his life

6: He will mostly stay alone

7: He might appear cold and unaffectionate because he is cautious

 

And then the video ends off with saying: All of this because he has been taught that real men are strong….

Wees bedag op hierdie tekens, en besef, n man wat sterk is, is n man wat weet hoe om na homself op n emosionele vlak om te sien…
