Make a difference in a child’s life at this year’s FNB Business Women’s Breakfast

Published on

FNB wants to give young South African’s the ability to #BeUnStoppable through the power of education. They are appealing to those attending this year’s sold-out FNB Business Women’s Breakfast in association with Smile 90.4FM to help them in their journey to make a difference.
If you’re attending the sold-out FNB Business Women’s Breakfast in association with Smile 90.4FM, FNB wants to appeal to you to donate old (gently used) books or any other educational toys and or material that will be beneficial to kids between the ages of 0 – 6 years.
FNB supports and encourages voluntary involvement within communities through programmes that help enrich the quality of life and opportunities for all citizens.
According to research 1,100,000 babies are born in SA annually, and only 150,000 children obtain a Bachelor’s pass in Grade 12 granting them the opportunity to be educated at a tertiary level.
Therefore, we have many young adults in South Africa who were not given the right early childhood education that allowed them to reach their full potential.
FNB’s focus on supporting early childhood development allows them to make a difference in the young lives of those around us thus equipping the next generation with getting the right education, the most powerful tool you can use to change the world.
How to donate?
Bring along a book or any other educational toys and or material that will be beneficial to kids between the ages of 0 – 6 years to this year’s sold-out FNB Business Women’s Breakfast in association with Smile 90.4FM on Wednesday, 29 August at the Cape Town ICC and place it in the donations box.
