Lockdown Heroes: Because not all heroes wear capes…

Published on

South Africa has been in lockdown for just over 7 weeks and there are those of us that have been working straight through to make sure everyone is safe, that everyone has food, and that everyone is okay.

We want to recognise those people – nurses, doctors, medics, security personal, police officers, retail staff,  your neighbour who goes above and beyond for those in need. All of them.

We all know that not all heroes wear capes, so tell us about your Lockdown Hero, an individual who, despite the circumstances, has gone over and above to assist their families, organizations or communities during these unprecedented times. A pillar of light in trying times.

Nominate your lockdown hero and let’s celebrate them for the heroes they are.

Here’s what to do:
– Fill in the form below telling us about them, what they do and why they are your Lockdown Hero
– Send us a photograph of them and their contact number
