The Urban Rural Development NPO in Langa, intends to continue where they left of for another 2 decades. The programme which is aimed at changing the lives of residents in township areas through nutrition programs, has set a number of ambitious goals for 2020. The main objective of the organization is to alleviate the nutritional status of the extremely impoverished communities in the Mother City.

The Director of the Urban Rural Development Programme, Nompumelelo Ngoqo, says they aim to continue turning positive sentiments into meaningful outcomes, as they begin a new decade. In order to improve and continue projects they run for the less fortunate, they will once again rely on the generosity of corporates, professionals and the public in general.

Ngoqo says, “they are grateful for all the sponsors who continue to give food parcels that take care of the nutritional needs of their people, and hope that they will continue to assist them during 2020 and beyond.”
